History of Alabama

Alabama was thought to be found around 1519 by Spanish Explores.

Then in 1763 the land was bought and gained control by the British.

The Captital (Montegomery) was found in 1861. 

Alabama was named a state in December 14, 1819

It was gained after the Indian removals, in the earlier 19th Centuary.

Then was one of the main Slave states / confederate states. 

Alabama grew a lot of crops especially tabacco and cotton. 

Alabama stoped being a confederate state in 1961 because it lost in the Civil war, against the North.

In the 1915's to 1930's there was a great migration what was also known as Segregation, they group the people of the same race, and color.
